Raven sat at a window seat in the café. That's where she always sat, anywhere she went. She loved looking out the window seeing the world like a TV. Watching strangers walk past the café without a care in the world. Smiles on their faces.
Raven longed to be liked them, careless and happy. She knew she could never be that way. Not after all the pain she'd endured throughout her life. All she could do was look happy.
Raven placed her order and waiting for the waiter to return with her hot soda and fries.
